After a rather tough play, Cachivache F.C's Anastasio Incendio got a free kick in the 5th minute. 8 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo de Almagro's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Ofelio came free, but Matias Galoer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amadeo Ofelio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matias Galoer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeo Ofelio in the 14th minute of play forced San Lorenzo de Almagro's goalkeeper Matias Galoer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rogelio Pacho was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 17 minutes into the match. One of San Lorenzo de Almagro:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cachivache F.C:s goal. The goalkeeper, Matias Galoer, was totally fooled by Cachivache F.C's Anibal Kemen, who 19 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Amadeo Ofelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Giro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Epifanio Poncio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victoriano Leguizamón got free with Matias Galoer in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th minute of the match Orlando Vito shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Epifanio Poncio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Honorato Fernandez's late challenge caught a San Lorenzo de Almagro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Honorato Fernandez helped the player get up and apologised. Honorato Fernandez hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Matias Galoer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeo Ofelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After 61 played minutes San Lorenzo de Almagro got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Vito. Cachivache F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. After taking down the ball on Cachivache F.C's corner Leo Misael fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Matias Galoer quite easily take care of the ball. After having played for 77 minutes, Amadeo Ofelio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cachivache F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amadeo Ofelio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the San Lorenzo de Almagro players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cachivache F.C.
