Sportivo Juvenil's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Horquilla FC the free kick. In the 4th match minute, Sportivo Juvenil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Aznaro to maneuver through the defense. Luisito Fanuco scored 1-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Enzo Goiz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 11 played minutes Horquilla FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Vasco. Denis Chabier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Maldonado having to interfere. The supporters of Sportivo Juvenil booed when Horquilla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Paio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horquilla FC's Ernesto Maldonado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Garin in the 24th minute of play. If Aquilino Aznaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Siro Resto kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Sportivo Juvenil's Aquilino Aznaro got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luisito Fanuco got free with Enzo Goiz in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Horquilla FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Rodrigo Illart hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Garin in the 70th minute of play forced Horquilla FC's goalkeeper Ernesto Maldonado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Horquilla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Garin came free, but Ernesto Maldonado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horquilla FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Severino Garin scored to the left of an out of position Ernesto Maldonado, making the score, 1-2. After 81 played minutes Horquilla FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Vasco. In the 87th minute, Saturnino Cloyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 94 minutes of play, Sportivo Juvenil's Severino Garin made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernesto Maldonado was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle sounded Sportivo Juvenil left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Horquilla FC.
