Esteve Rodriguez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Paolo Quinto made a huge save. The supporters of Tambillos FC booed when Ciénaga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Abalos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 96 played minutes Tambillos FC got a freekick which was hit by Everardo Emenon. The Ciénaga fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Tambillos FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
