Feliberto Qwinton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonides Tano went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Eduardo Elivareo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The corner led FC Segovia's Filomeno Crispo to fire away a dangerous shot which Feliberto Qwinton despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The FC Segovia fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when FC Segovia's Eduardo Elivareo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Leonides Tano scored 1-3 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Feliberto Qwinton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Feliberto Qwinton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonides Tano went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. In the 39th minute, Albano Quirce got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Romulo Nafarroa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Efrain Estefan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roque Mancio hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After the first half FC Segovia were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eduardo Elivareo was the one to do the kick off. After 55 played minutes Talleres de Cordoba got a freekick which was hit by Paulino Cucao. Eduardo Elivareo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliberto Qwinton having to interfere. With his leg Feliberto Qwinton managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when FC Segovia's Leo Orain fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Eduardo Elivareo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, David Gartzea managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Segovia's supporters rose to their feet, but David Gartzea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feliberto Qwinton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 69th minute, Eduardo Elivareo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Filomeno Crispo kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Eduardo Elivareo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Talleres de Cordoba booed when FC Segovia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Gartzea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eduardo Elivareo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 93rd minute, Albano Quirce got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Segovia played a much better game than Talleres de Cordoba and deserved their victory. The Talleres de Cordoba players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
