Marciano Ferrer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6th minute Honorio Otsoko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Ferrer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute Honorio Loi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Bento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Honorio Loi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laureano Abel during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Veleros's Honorio Otsoko got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute, one of Veleros:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Veleros. In the 29th minute, Jairo Truylos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amador Bento was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 39 minutes into the match, Zacarias Danel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amador Bento. Veleros's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zacarias Danel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Honorio Loi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the match, Veleros's goalkeeper Amador Bento had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zacarias Danel. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Honorio Loi was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Honorio Loi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Protestante AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Honorio Loi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amador Bento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anastasio Guipuzkoa lost his temper 64 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 63rd minute, one of Veleros:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Veleros. Marciano Giro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marciano Ferrer having to interfere. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Veleros's goalkeeper Amador Bento, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Amador Bento came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Protestante AFC's Zacarias Danel. But to his dismay, Zacarias Danel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Amador Bento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorio Loi, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Saverio Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Saverio Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 88 played minutes Protestante AFC got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Celipe. Saverio Marquez let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 90th minute shot 6-1 at rihgt post. 96 minutes into the match, Veleros's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Loi came free, but Amador Bento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amador Bento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Danel in the 101st minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Protestante AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Veleros had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
