Spectators: 6456 (Terracing: 5456, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Octavio Salvidor got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Independiente's goalkeeper Leonides Iraunkor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serafin Calisto. When Rafael Silvino fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Branca FC's protests and gave Rafael Silvino a yellow card for diving instead. Rafael Silvino kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. If Serafin Calisto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honorio Seber might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonides Iraunkor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Honorio Seber ran back to his position shaking his head. Serafin Calisto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Leonides Iraunkor when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Serafin Calisto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonides Iraunkor having to make a save. In the 24th minute, Independiente's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Serafin Calisto fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 27th minute, Serafin Calisto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Seber came free, but Leonides Iraunkor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonides Iraunkor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorio Seber, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 33rd minute Honorio Seber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Iraunkor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Froilan Dalmai hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Honorio Seber made a kick off. Honorio Seber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute Honorio Seber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Iraunkor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Branca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Salvidor came free, but Arnulfo Fidensio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 65 minutes of play Branca FC's Rafael Silvino was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Branca FC's Rafael Silvino got a free kick in the 66th minute. If Anibal Firmin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnulfo Fidensio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Salvidor, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Serafin Calisto struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Leonides Iraunkor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Branca FC. Octavio Salvidor succeeded in the game's 87th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Valentin Quinteros kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Independiente were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Branca FC's much stronger midfield.
