Spectators: 6667 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gaston Bilbo kicked off to start the match. Arcadia's Virgilio Nazario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Bilbo in the 3rd minute of play. Efrain Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Nazario having to interfere. Gaston Bilbo might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Virgilio Nazario. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaston Bilbo ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaston Bilbo in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgilio Nazario saved Arcadia from getting behind. In the 12th minute Gaston Bilbo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Nazario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Albino Guillelmo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Abreu in the 21st minute of play forced Arcadia's goalkeeper Virgilio Nazario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaston Bilbo struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Virgilio Nazario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calchines AFC. When Efrain Abreu came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Calchines AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Efrain Abreu couldn't finish the play. Gaston Bilbo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Nazario having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Gaston Bilbo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Virgilio Nazario was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The audience was convinced that Efrain Abreu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Virgilio Nazario was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Albino Guillelmo scored 0-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Virgilio Nazario, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Victorino Che made the kick off in the second half. Gaston Bilbo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Virgilio Nazario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 61 played minutes Arcadia got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Miliano. Abelardo Jaume made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Che in the 65th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Arcadia's goalkeeper Virgilio Nazario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaston Bilbo. After a defensive mix-up in Arcadia's zone, Gaston Bilbo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgilio Nazario came out of the goal and Gaston Bilbo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Efrain Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Virgilio Nazario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Bilbo, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 77th minute, Ismael Miliano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the match, Calchines AFC's Albino Guillelmo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Virgilio Nazario narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Calchines AFC's Efrain Abreu got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Virgilio Nazario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Bilbo, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Bilbo in the 92nd minute of play forced Arcadia's goalkeeper Virgilio Nazario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Calchines AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
