But to his dismay, Efrain Abreu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Gaston Bilbo might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joel Raymond. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaston Bilbo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 20th minute Gaston Bilbo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Raymond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, one of Olivos City F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Olivos City F.C.. When Abelardo Luix came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Olivos City F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abelardo Luix couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Olivos City F.C. defense, Gaston Bilbo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joel Raymond. The Olivos City F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joel Raymond should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Olivos City F.C. booed when Calchines AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clodoveo Jatsu didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Efrain Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Raymond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Bilbo in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Osvaldo Atauri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abelardo Luix kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Hector Chumo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 47th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gaston Bilbo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joel Raymond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Abreu in the 58th minute of play. Gaston Bilbo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Joel Raymond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olivos City F.C.'s Teofilo Azubeli got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Efrain Abreu came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Calchines AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Efrain Abreu couldn't finish the play. 72 minutes into the match, Gaston Bilbo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joel Raymond. Olivos City F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gaston Bilbo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Gaston Bilbo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Joel Raymond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Armando Rafel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Rafel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Abelardo Jaume made a huge save. 92 minutes into the match, Olivos City F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gaston Bilbo came free, but Joel Raymond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Efrain Abreu came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Calchines AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Efrain Abreu couldn't finish the play. In the 95thth minute of the game Gaston Bilbo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olivos City F.C.'s Joel Raymond was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Calchines AFC had played much better football throughout.
