In the 3rd match minute, Veleros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adan Jenaro to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute Teofilo Azubeli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Bento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amador Bento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Azubeli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Teofilo Azubeli fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Amador Bento, passed just outside the right post. If Honorio Otsoko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rdth minute of the game Honorio Otsoko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olivos City F.C.'s Joel Raymond was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 26th minute, Marciano Giro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Veleros's Amador Bento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Azubeli in the 30th minute of play. Honorio Otsoko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Joel Raymond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saverio Marquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olivos City F.C.'s Joel Raymond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Otsoko in the 37th minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Armando Rafel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amador Bento. Veleros's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armando Rafel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Honorio Otsoko was the one to do the kick off. Teofilo Azubeli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Armando Rafel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amador Bento having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Veleros's zone, Teofilo Azubeli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amador Bento came out of the goal and Teofilo Azubeli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joel Raymond made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Saverio Marquez sent off a good shot on target. Saverio Marquez struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Joel Raymond didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Veleros. Teofilo Azubeli struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Amador Bento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olivos City F.C.. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armando Rafel in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amador Bento saved Veleros from getting behind. After having played for 87 minutes, Teofilo Azubeli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olivos City F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Teofilo Azubeli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abelardo Luix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Veleros getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Marciano Giro hit a great ball. 93 minutes into the match, Olivos City F.C.'s Teofilo Azubeli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amador Bento narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marciano Giro's late challenge caught a Olivos City F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marciano Giro helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Olivos City F.C. booed when Veleros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marciano Giro didn't get a good kick on the ball.
