If Elpidio Harriet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Elpidio Harriet might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Evaristo Veremundo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elpidio Harriet ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristobal Pepillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Gaudencio Gaskon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristobal Pepillo charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristobal Pepillo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cristobal Pepillo kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Fernando Oliverios recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Las Langostas FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Israel Polentzi hit a great ball. Gaudencio Gaskon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristobal Pepillo in the 21st minute of the match. If Elpidio Harriet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Las Langostas FC's Gaudencio Gaskon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Oliverios in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Pepillo in the 35th minute of play forced Las Langostas FC's goalkeeper Gaudencio Gaskon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 38 minutes, Patricio Avellaneda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Las Langostas FC and the BOCA JUNIORS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 39 played minutes Las Langostas FC got a freekick which was hit by Israel Polentzi. Valentin Larpe was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 40th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Cristobal Pepillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ubaldo Enetz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Veremundo having to interfere. Evaristo Veremundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Enetz in the 48th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristobal Pepillo to make the kick off. In the 57th minute, Fernando Oliverios ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaudencio Gaskon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After having played for 60 minutes, Cristobal Pepillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BOCA JUNIORS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristobal Pepillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristobal Pepillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 67 played minutes BOCA JUNIORS got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Larpe. Las Langostas FC's Remigio Senon couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 68th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for BOCA JUNIORS. After 72 minutes of play, Las Langostas FC's Patricio Avellaneda made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evaristo Veremundo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gaudencio Gaskon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristobal Pepillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patricio Avellaneda hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 85th match minute, BOCA JUNIORS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Tiadoro to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the match, Las Langostas FC's Ubaldo Enetz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Evaristo Veremundo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mauricio Tiadoro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
