The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Adolfo Casado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Niceto Piarres made a huge save. Ladislao Emenon struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Niceto Piarres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galactico AFC. Adolfo Casado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Niceto Piarres made a huge save. 1-0 became the score in the 9th minute when Aquiles Gonzo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Gonzalo Ikatz hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Amancio Oliveiro hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Guido Aguirre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Gentza in the 20th minute of the match. After having played for 22 minutes, Victoriano Gilen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galactico AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victoriano Gilen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Galactico AFC fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Galactico AFC's Adolfo Casado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Aaron Asteri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Guido Aguirre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Galactico AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gogo Cresenciano came free, but Guido Aguirre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Galactico AFC's Guido Aguirre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Cresenciano in the 32nd minute of play. Guido Aguirre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Asteri in the 33rd minute of the match. Victoriano Gilen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niceto Piarres made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Adolfo Casado sent off a good shot on target. Victoriano Gilen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Niceto Piarres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Galactico AFC's Victoriano Gilen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Niceto Piarres. That made the score 3-0 after 44 minutes of play. After some careless play in the Galactico AFC defense, Ivan Gentza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guido Aguirre. The Galactico AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guido Aguirre should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aaron Asteri to strike the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Adolfo Casado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niceto Piarres. AGUANTE ITUZAINGO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adolfo Casado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. After a rather tough play, Galactico AFC's Erubiel Theobald got a free kick in the 60th minute. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Victoriano Gilen sped through AGUANTE ITUZAINGO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Niceto Piarres. Niceto Piarres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Casado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victoriano Gilen in the 77th minute of play forced AGUANTE ITUZAINGO's goalkeeper Niceto Piarres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute Victoriano Gilen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niceto Piarres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niceto Piarres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Casado in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute of the match, Aaron Asteri tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Guido Aguirre saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Erubiel Theobald's late challenge caught a AGUANTE ITUZAINGO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erubiel Theobald helped the player get up and apologised. Niceto Piarres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erubiel Theobald in the 89th minute of play. In the 92ndth minute of the game Adolfo Casado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AGUANTE ITUZAINGO's Niceto Piarres was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Victoriano Gilen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Niceto Piarres was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. If Adolfo Casado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niceto Piarres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Casado in the 99th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Galactico AFC had played much better football throughout.
