Victoriano Gilen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Elia having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Iratzeder had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guido Aguirre. Galactico AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximiliano Iratzeder was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 15 minutes into the game, Isaac Rozarius cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Guido Aguirre was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 18 played minutes Formosa FC got a freekick which was hit by Clodoveo Ebardo. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maximiliano Iratzeder during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th minute, Adolfo Casado made a precise shot to the right of Elpidio Elia. Formosa FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. In the 41st minute of the match, Adolfo Casado got a very nice opportunity to score, but Elpidio Elia was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Elpidio Elia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adolfo Casado in the 43rd minute. Victoriano Gilen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

Godfredo Gipuzkoa's late challenge caught a Galactico AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Godfredo Gipuzkoa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th match minute, Formosa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godfredo Gipuzkoa to maneuver through the defense. Galactico AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
