To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the match, ALEJO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Godofredo Baumar came free, but Osvaldo Berbiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Mencué's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Beltran came free, but Ovidio Izotz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Beltran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Izotz having to interfere. In the 40th minute Rafael Beltran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Izotz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Geronimo Danel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
