Aquiles Lartaun received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. In the 65thth minute of the game Sixto Etxekopar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mencué's Ovidio Izotz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aquiles Lartaun hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Ovidio Izotz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sixto Etxekopar's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. 77 minutes into the game, AcuñA's Sixto Etxekopar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The audience was convinced that Sixto Etxekopar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ovidio Izotz was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. When Amancio Gimenez was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 91 minutes had been played. Amancio Gimenez hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. AcuñA's Fulgencio Dantae got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
