Isidro Poncio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enrique Goito's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. If Roman Silvanito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute Roman Silvanito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Savion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atucha FC's Isidro Poncio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Atucha FC from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd minute Pastor Inguma suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hipolito Santos during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Ladislao Llorienzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ladislao Llorienzos short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Isidro Poncio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bernardino Txanton's late challenge caught a Medanitos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardino Txanton helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Medanitos booed when Atucha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Txanton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enzo Leguizamón, 40 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Enrique Goito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Bernardino Txanton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teofilo Sarracino during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 49 played minutes Medanitos got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Sarracino. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. German Locaio was the one to do the kick off. Isidro Poncio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Llorienzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ladislao Llorienzo in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isidro Poncio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hipolito Santos was shown his second yellow card after 60 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 61st match minute, Atucha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hipolito Santos to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Atucha FC's zone, Ladislao Llorienzo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isidro Poncio came out of the goal and Ladislao Llorienzo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Llorienzo in the 66th minute of play forced Atucha FC's goalkeeper Isidro Poncio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Medanitos's Ladislao Llorienzo got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roman Silvanito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roman Silvanito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Leonel Savion made a huge save. Isidro Poncio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Llorienzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After having played for 77 minutes, Ladislao Llorienzo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Medanitos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ladislao Llorienzo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Atucha FC's German Locaio got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute, Julio Firmin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the match, Ladislao Llorienzo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isidro Poncio. Atucha FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ladislao Llorienzo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Atucha FC's Isidro Poncio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Llorienzo in the 94th minute of play. Medanitos's Ladislao Llorienzo got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
