Spectators: 7227 (Terracing: 5422, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Santo Mercurio got the match started through his kick off. Federico Erlantz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Mercurio in the 9th minute of play. A collision led to Electroencefalografista getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Nicasio Nesto hit a great ball. Aaron Abaurre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Marcial Lauren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Aaron Abaurre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Federico Erlantz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Atilano Igon in the 27th minute. Marcial Lauren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from German Cordara went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Escriña's Aaron Abaurre got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Marcial Lauren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Abaurre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Atilano Igon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Aaron Abaurre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. German Cordara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. German Cordara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Marcial Lauren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when German Cordara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Electroencefalografista's zone, German Cordara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcial Lauren came out of the goal and German Cordara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aaron Abaurre got free with Marcial Lauren in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 62nd minute German Cordara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Lauren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aaron Abaurre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Lauren having to interfere. The supporters of Electroencefalografista booed when Escriña was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Giraldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Electroencefalografista's Marcial Lauren got control of the ball when Aaron Abaurre tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 76th match minute, Electroencefalografista was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atilano Igon to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Electroencefalografista's zone, German Cordara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcial Lauren came out of the goal and German Cordara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Electroencefalografista's goalkeeper Marcial Lauren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcial Lauren made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Aaron Abaurre sent off a good shot on target. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Escriña's German Cordara in the 83rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Marcial Lauren was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Electroencefalografista through an amazing save. Aaron Abaurre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcial Lauren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. If German Cordara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aaron Abaurre who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Marcial Lauren when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling German Cordara in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcial Lauren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Escriña's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
