The referee showed Rodolfo Egun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sportivo Lobos Tandil booed when Club Juana Koslay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Egun didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Niceto Tono came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Sportivo Lobos Tandil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niceto Tono couldn't finish the play. Cipriano Eriz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alejandro Romelio in the 28th minute. The referee ignored Club Juana Koslay's protests and gave Lázaro Inge a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Club Juana Koslay's Lázaro Inge got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 46th match minute, Sportivo Lobos Tandil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonzo Sugar to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Niceto Tono to make the kick off. Club Juana Koslay's Leonardo Oliverios got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
