The supporters of Sportivo Lobos Tandil booed when Los Infernales de Güemes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rene Rosario didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 15 played minutes Los Infernales de Güemes got a freekick which was hit by Leonides Ezkerra. If Teobaldo Matteo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 24 minutes into the game, when Gaudencio Bermudo put in a rough tackle. Niceto Tono charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niceto Tono the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Niceto Tono kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Filiberto Adrio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Tono in the 31st minute of the match. With a little luck, Sportivo Lobos Tandil's Damian Lluques got control of the ball when Domingo Froila tried to sneak it across the goal line. Teobaldo Matteo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Damian Lluques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teobaldo Matteo struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Damian Lluques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Infernales de Güemes. 38 minutes into the game, Tomas Cambranes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sportivo Lobos Tandil's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Infernales de Güemes the free kick. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Lobos Tandil's Tomas Cambranes got a free kick in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Matteo in the 40th minute of play forced Sportivo Lobos Tandil's goalkeeper Damian Lluques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute Teobaldo Matteo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Lluques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teobaldo Matteo was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Lobos Tandil's Abelardo Eliazar got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After having played for 53 minutes, Teobaldo Matteo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Infernales de Güemes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teobaldo Matteo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Domingo Froila's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damian Lluques read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teobaldo Matteo in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damian Lluques saved Sportivo Lobos Tandil from getting behind. 67 minutes into the match, Los Infernales de Güemes's goalkeeper Filiberto Adrio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alejandro Romelio. If Niceto Tono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Domingo Froila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damian Lluques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Matteo, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Damian Lluques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobaldo Matteo in the 76th minute of play. Pablo Mercurio charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Sportivo Lobos Tandil's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. When Teobaldo Matteo came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Los Infernales de Güemes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teobaldo Matteo couldn't finish the play. Damian Lluques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Ciceron in the 82nd minute of the match. Damian Lluques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Matteo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sportivo Lobos Tandil's goalkeeper Damian Lluques, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leonides Ezkerra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damian Lluques read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Teobaldo Matteo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Damian Lluques was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sportivo Lobos Tandil players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Los Infernales de Güemes.
