Bartolo Flores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Rafe in the 16th minute of the match. Eleuterio Silban's late challenge caught a La Vagancia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eleuterio Silban helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of La Vagancia booed when Club Almagro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleuterio Silban didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacobo Gonsalve recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teodoro Rafe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 28th play minutes Jacobo Gonsalve shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Bartolo Flores and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Rafe in the 33rd minute of play forced Club Almagro's goalkeeper Bartolo Flores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bartolo Flores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Rafe in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Teodoro Rafe made a precise shot to the right of Bartolo Flores. Club Almagro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 40th match minute, La Vagancia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelio Henric to maneuver through the defense. Jacobo Gonsalve blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bartolo Flores having to make a save. 44 minutes into the match, Club Almagro's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Rafe came free, but Bartolo Flores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victoriano Fernendo to strike the kick off in the second half. Teodoro Rafes short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Bartolo Flores to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 62ndth minute of the game Victoriano Fernendo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Vagancia's Julian Abeita was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A hard shot 74 in the game by Teodoro Rafe from a close distance when the talented Bartolo Flores managed to make a qualified save. Club Almagro's players were relieved. Bartolo Flores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobo Gonsalve, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacobo Gonsalve's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bartolo Flores read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Club Almagro's Bartolo Flores proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Club Almagro from getting a goal against them. If Fidel Petrigai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Jacobo Gonsalve's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bartolo Flores was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodoro Rafe got free with Bartolo Flores in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. La Vagancia played a much better game than Club Almagro and deserved their victory. The Club Almagro players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
