With an all-out effort, Nike FC's Emiliano Monico threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arsenio Mundo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in Nike FC's zone, Eugenio Donzel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabian Osasun came out of the goal and Eugenio Donzel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabian Osasun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Donzel in the 24th minute of play. Siro Frasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Fabian Osasun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emiliano Monico came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Nike FC's Federico Mirande. But to his dismay, Federico Mirande quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The supporters of Nike FC booed when Palmar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Donzel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabian Osasun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Etxahun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34thth minute of the game Eugenio Donzel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nike FC's Fabian Osasun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Siro Frasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Osasun having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Nike FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Donzel came free, but Fabian Osasun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 55th minute, Siro Frasco fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Fabian Osasun, passed just outside the right post. Arsenio Mundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Monico having to interfere. In the 61st minute Modesto Mattin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Monico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emiliano Monico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Mattin in the 66th minute of play. Serafino Nofre lost his temper 67 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 67th minute, Serafino Nofre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Leopoldo Etxahun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Leopoldo Etxahun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palmar's supporters rose to their feet, but Leopoldo Etxahun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Osasun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75th minute, Federico Mirande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Emiliano Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th match minute, Nike FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Tino to maneuver through the defense. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Federico Mirande couldn't finish the play.
