Juan Mosen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Arnulfo Hodei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pastor Acevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Katia in the 28th minute of play. Pastor Acevedo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Isidro Katia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 33 minute of play. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind BOEDO's goalkeeper Arnulfo Hodei, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. River plate's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
