In the 15th match minute, Nike FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Modesto Mattin to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Justo Gustau in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabian Osasun saved Nike FC from getting behind. 17 minutes into the match, Nike FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Seber came free, but Fabian Osasun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Modesto Mattin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justo Gustau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Osasun having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, Federico Mirande was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nike FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atletico Correa the free kick. A collision led to Nike FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Federico Mirande hit a great ball. Fabian Osasun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Seber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabian Osasun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Seber in the 28th minute of the match. Justo Gustau took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabian Osasun. Fabian Osasun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After having played for 37 minutes, Federico Mirande managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nike FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Federico Mirande was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Modesto Mattin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Braulio Toli made a huge save. In the 41st minute Ramon Seber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Osasun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabian Osasun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Seber, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After having played for 54 minutes, Justo Gustau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Correa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Justo Gustau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Braulio Toli came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Nike FC's Arsenio Mundo. But to his dismay, Arsenio Mundo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Modesto Mattin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Modesto Mattin came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Nike FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Modesto Mattin couldn't finish the play. In the 64th match minute, Club Atletico Correa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geronimo Galsino to maneuver through the defense. If Modesto Mattin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Atletico Correa's Braulio Toli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Modesto Mattin in the 69th minute of play. Braulio Toli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Mattin in the 73rd minute of play. The supporters of Club Atletico Correa booed when Nike FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Mirande didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Justo Gustau got free with Fabian Osasun in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ramon Seber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Nike FC's Maximiliano Rojelio seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Maximiliano Rojelio the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Nike FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Maximiliano Rojelio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Nike FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! Aristides Pirro shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
