A collision led to mamabicho getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Ernesto Tadzio hit a great ball. Leopoldo Etxahun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernando Jaizki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Donzel, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Leopoldo Etxahun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Jaizki having to interfere. Siro Frasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in mamabicho's zone, Siro Frasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Jaizki came out of the goal and Siro Frasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, mamabicho's Horacio Grabiel got a free kick in the 18th minute. After some careless play in the mamabicho defense, Leopoldo Etxahun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Jaizki. The mamabicho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Jaizki should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Seguinus in the 30th minute of play forced Palmar's goalkeeper Emiliano Monico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 31 played minutes Palmar got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Etxahun. Ernesto Tadzio succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 33rd playminute. Fernando Jaizki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siro Frasco in the 37th minute of play. If Eugenio Donzel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Fabio Seguinus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emiliano Monico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Seguinus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 played minutes Palmar got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Garcia. Clodoveo Fanuco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Leopoldo Etxahun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eugenio Donzel made a kick off. Leopoldo Etxahun scored 1-2 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernando Jaizki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fernando Jaizki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Donzel in the 55th minute of the match. When Eugenio Donzel came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Palmar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugenio Donzel couldn't finish the play. If Siro Frasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in mamabicho's zone, Emiliano Garcia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Jaizki came out of the goal and Emiliano Garcia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Aurelio Leguizamón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 71 played minutes mamabicho got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Isaio. Palmar's Leopoldo Etxahun got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eugenio Donzel made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 77thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Fernando Jaizki would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Fernando Jaizki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cecilio Garikoitz in the 80th minute. If Fabio Seguinus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugenio Donzel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Fernando Jaizki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Eugenio Donzel fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Emiliano Monico didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ernesto Tadzio went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. The mamabicho fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Palmar were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
