IGNILU's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mukaku FC the free kick. After 27 played minutes IGNILU got a freekick which was hit by Elpidio Feliz. A collision led to Mukaku FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Paolo Gora hit a great ball. Ciriaco Figueroa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leopoldo Monico's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. In the 31st match minute, IGNILU was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelino Montel to maneuver through the defense. After 32 played minutes, Mukaku FC's Enrique Dunixi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Santo Laurendi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mukaku FC reached it. Elpidio Feliz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Santo Laurendi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Paolo Gora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

IGNILU's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Guido Sidro in the 53rd minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Mukaku FC's goalie and right to Ruperto Katia. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Mukaku FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 60thth minute of the game Ovidio Baleren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but IGNILU's Santo Laurendi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Elpidio Feliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Mukaku FC's zone, Elpidio Feliz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciriaco Figueroa came out of the goal and Elpidio Feliz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 71 minutes into the match, Paolo Gora had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Santo Laurendi. IGNILU's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paolo Gora was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Leopoldo Monico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
