The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severino Frasquito during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, IGNILU's Severino Frasquito got a free kick in the 3rd minute. IGNILU's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Arturo Oidor scored to the left of an out of position Santo Laurendi, making the score, 1-0. Thanks to some nice moves Froilan Burni could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Santo Laurendi however easily saved by the left post. Santo Laurendi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Froilan Burni in the 20th minute. An unexpected shot in the 22nd minute by Arturo Oidor got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Froilan Burni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Santo Laurendi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabio Estevon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elpidio Feliz, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. If Arturo Oidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arturo Oidor got free with Santo Laurendi in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Froilan Burni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Santo Laurendi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, IGNILU's Marcelino Montel got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute of the match, Arturo Oidor tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Santo Laurendi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Santo Laurendi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Froilan Burni in the 42nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in IGNILU's zone, Froilan Burni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santo Laurendi came out of the goal and Froilan Burni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elpidio Feliz made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Oidor in the 54th minute of play forced IGNILU's goalkeeper Santo Laurendi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The long shot by Clodoveo Gaxan in the 59th minute really tested Fabio Estevon's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Tobias Eneas fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saladillo AFC's protests and gave Tobias Eneas a yellow card for diving instead. Tobias Eneas kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After 61 minutes of play, IGNILU's Leopoldo Monico made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Estevon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leopoldo Monico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elpidio Feliz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Fabio Estevon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 71 minutes, Leopoldo Monico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IGNILU's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leopoldo Monico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elpidio Feliz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76thth minute of the game Elpidio Feliz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saladillo AFC's Fabio Estevon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After recieving a nice pass, IGNILU's Guido Sidro tried to score from far away in the 78th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Feliz in the 79th minute of play forced Saladillo AFC's goalkeeper Fabio Estevon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saladillo AFC's Tobias Eneas got his second yellow card of the match in the 80th minute. The referee ordered Tobias Eneas off the ground. In the 81st minute, Tobias Eneas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leopoldo Monico in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fabio Estevon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. IGNILU's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
