Cristobal Lizar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cristobal Lizar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Etxeberri in the 25th minute of play. Isidoro Etxahun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Lizar having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, JOGP's Wilfredo Benino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Antonio Urdaspal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Isidoro Etxahun took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristobal Lizar. Cristobal Lizar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilfredo Benino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Antonio Urdaspal came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by JOGP's Wilfredo Benino. But to his dismay, Wilfredo Benino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aureliano Reyes got free with Cristobal Lizar in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Benino in the 72nd minute of play forced Motoralmaisangre's goalkeeper Antonio Urdaspal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, JOGP's Wilfredo Benino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Antonio Urdaspal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristobal Lizar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aureliano Reyes in the 76th minute. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Motoralmaisangre's goalkeeper Antonio Urdaspal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aureliano Reyes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Lizar having to interfere.
