Philipps's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mukaku FC the free kick. In the 12th match minute, Philipps was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Demesio to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Mukaku FC's Enrique Dunixi broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Paolo Gora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Mukaku FC's Ciriaco Figueroa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Mukaku FC from getting a goal against them. Esteban Pueblo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paolo Gora's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Philipps's Flavio Endura couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 51st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mukaku FC. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paolo Gora stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hipolito Eriz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Esteban Pueblo came out and tried to block the shot, but Hipolito Eriz slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 59th minute. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Philipps! 71 minutes into the match, Ovidio Baleren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esteban Pueblo. Philipps's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ovidio Baleren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Samuel Bento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Philipps's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuel Bento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciriaco Figueroa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ciriaco Figueroa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Cristofor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Samuel Bento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paolo Gora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Pueblo having to interfere. After having played for 101 minutes, Paolo Gora managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mukaku FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paolo Gora was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Mukaku FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
