Saladillo AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave JOGP the free kick. The supporters of JOGP booed when Saladillo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Monte didn't get a good kick on the ball. JOGP's Artemio Abaurre couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 11th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Saladillo AFC. 13 minutes into the game, JOGP's Wilfredo Benino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabio Estevon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Benino in the 20th minute of play forced Saladillo AFC's goalkeeper Fabio Estevon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabio Estevon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Artemio Matei in the 22nd minute. A hard shot 27 in the game by Artemio Matei from a close distance when the talented Fabio Estevon managed to make a qualified save. Saladillo AFC's players were relieved. Arturo Oidor charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arturo Oidor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Saladillo AFC's Arturo Oidor got a free kick in the 31st minute. Cristobal Lizar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan Burni, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. JOGP's Cristobal Lizar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Burni in the 41st minute of play. Saladillo AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Wilfredo Benino scored to the left of an out of position Fabio Estevon, making the score, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Artemio Matei got free with Fabio Estevon in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Froilan Burni to make the kick off. Fabio Estevon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artemio Matei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elias Gerazan kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the game, Froilan Burni cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Cristobal Lizar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wilfredo Benino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Estevon having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Elias Gerazan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Froilan Burni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Artemio Abaurre was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 76 minutes had been played. Artemio Abaurre kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Elias Gerazan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Estevon having to interfere. Maximino Erauso might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabio Estevon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximino Erauso ran back to his position shaking his head. If Artemio Matei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Saladillo AFC's Arturo Oidor got a free kick in the 94th minute. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by Saladillo AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Martin Beltran was slow to take the kick. During this time JOGP's players had a chance to rest. The corner led JOGP's Maximino Erauso to fire away a dangerous shot which Fabio Estevon despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Despite being the better team, JOGP failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
