Ovidio Illart didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leopoldo Monico went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Candido Herena struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Santo Laurendi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Punkrockers Unidos. Punkrockers Unidos's Jacobo Dolfos got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Santo Laurendi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Candido Herena in the 41st minute of the match. Candido Herena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Santo Laurendi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elpidio Feliz was the one to do the kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elpidio Feliz couldn't finish the play. In the 63rd minute Elpidio Feliz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Illart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Guifre kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Monico in the 65th minute of play forced Punkrockers Unidos's goalkeeper Ovidio Illart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Candido Herena got free with Santo Laurendi in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Elpidio Feliz managed to get in a good position for a shot. IGNILU's supporters rose to their feet, but Elpidio Feliz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovidio Illart breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Natalio Tancredo hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. When Elpidio Feliz came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the IGNILU fans jumped to their feet.
