Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Motoralmaisangre's Isidoro Etxahun started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aureliano Reyes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Santo Laurendi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isidoro Etxahun might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santo Laurendi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isidoro Etxahun ran back to his position shaking his head. Aureliano Reyes did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Santo Laurendi 17 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Feliz in the 21st minute of play forced Motoralmaisangre's goalkeeper Antonio Urdaspal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Motoralmaisangre's Antonio Urdaspal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Feliz in the 25th minute of play. When Elpidio Feliz came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the IGNILU fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elpidio Feliz couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Feliz in the 30th minute of play forced Motoralmaisangre's goalkeeper Antonio Urdaspal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Motoralmaisangre's Octavio Hernandez got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 40th minute Anselmo Etxeberri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Laurendi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Isidoro Etxahun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elpidio Feliz to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Motoralmaisangre's Aureliano Reyes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Santo Laurendi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Motoralmaisangre's Antonio Urdaspal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Feliz in the 69th minute of play. After having played for 74 minutes, Isidoro Etxahun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Motoralmaisangre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Etxahun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Motoralmaisangre's Antonio Urdaspal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Motoralmaisangre from getting a goal against them. Guido Sidro kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Santo Laurendi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Reyes, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Isidoro Etxahun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antonio Urdaspal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leopoldo Monico in the 95th minute. The corner led IGNILU's Guido Sidro to fire away a dangerous shot which Antonio Urdaspal despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Motoralmaisangre fully deserved thier win.
