An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Nastasio in the 6th minute of play forced Canalla Thunder's goalkeeper Pablo Esdras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eusebio Pierres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Pablo Esdras made a huge save. Lázaro Edwardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teo Duardo in the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Roberto Fero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th match minute, Asantar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Diegotxe to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Canalla Thunder booed when Asantar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaston Txerran didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Canalla Thunder's Humberto Rio tried to score from far away in the 18th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Teo Duardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Lázaro Edwardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Asantar FC's Lázaro Edwardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Nazario in the 23rd minute of play. Roberto Fero's late challenge caught a Canalla Thunder's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roberto Fero helped the player get up and apologised. Roberto Fero hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Asantar FC's Leonides Norino got a free kick in the 24th minute. Pablo Esdras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Nastasio in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute of the match, Roberto Fero tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pablo Esdras saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 35th minute, Asantar FC's Aristides Nastasio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Roberto Fero took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Pablo Esdras to make any attempt to save it. Pablo Esdras made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Roberto Fero sent off a good shot on target. Teo Duardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teo Duardo was the one to do the kick off. Canalla Thunder's Pablo Esdras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Nastasio in the 54th minute of play. Felix Nazario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaston Txerran during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 58th minute of the game. One of Asantar FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Canalla Thunder:s goal. In the 62nd minute, Teo Duardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Canalla Thunder fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. When Asantar FC's Siro Gartzea in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Lázaro Edwardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canalla Thunder. Pablo Esdras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siro Gartzea in the 98th minute of the match. In the 99th match minute, Canalla Thunder was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Astor Bilbo to maneuver through the defense. Canalla Thunder's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
