The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 8 minutes, Siro Gartzea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Asantar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Siro Gartzea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, DIscipulos de Igor's Santo Ilazki got control of the ball when Siro Gartzea tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Asantar FC booed when DIscipulos de Igor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robustiano Teofilio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in DIscipulos de Igor's zone, Siro Gartzea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santo Ilazki came out of the goal and Siro Gartzea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Aristides Nastasio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Santo Ilazki was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Aristides Nastasio's late challenge caught a DIscipulos de Igor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aristides Nastasio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th match minute, Asantar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristides Nastasio to maneuver through the defense. Justino Reno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Lázaro Edwardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Siro Gartzea in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santo Ilazki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aristides Nastasio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Santo Ilazki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, DIscipulos de Igor's Angel Mundo got a free kick in the 85th minute. Santo Ilazki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siro Gartzea in the 87th minute of play. Lázaro Edwardo was a little too slow when Justino Reno got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 2-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Asantar FC fully deserved thier win.
