Desiderio Peio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Desiderio Peio came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Coloma fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Desiderio Peio couldn't finish the play. Leonardo Elodio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbano Mon having to interfere. Palavecino's Astor Foro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Sanduru in the 21st minute of play. Fabio Ponce's late challenge caught a Coloma's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabio Ponce helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th match minute, Palavecino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Ponce to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Melquiades Sanduru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coloma's supporters rose to their feet, but Melquiades Sanduru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Astor Foro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Coloma's Desiderio Peio got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Palavecino's Leonardo Elodio got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Eliseo Urko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Flavio Porfiro was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes, Eliseo Urko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palavecino and the Coloma players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Coloma getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Mario Emesto hit a great ball. Astor Foro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desiderio Peio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Melquiades Sanduru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Elodio in the 60th minute of play forced Coloma's goalkeeper Urbano Mon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavio Porfiro took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Urbano Mon. Urbano Mon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Palavecino's Leonardo Elodio got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Flavio Porfiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 74th minute of the match Samuel Vigil shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Astor Foro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Leonardo Elodio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Elodio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Melquiades Sanduru got free with Astor Foro in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Silverio Gines hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
