Sargento Cabral's Osvaldo Chuan got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rd minute of the match Ezequiel Veronica sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karl-Magnus Vibjörnsson skillfully saved the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Froilan Tano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Felipe Esquipula, 3-0. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Froilan Tano to strike the kick off in the second half. Felipe Esquipula showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan Tano, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Cristian Licerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Magnus Vibjörnsson having to interfere. Froilan Tano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felipe Esquipula having to make a save.
