The Chelco AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enrique Grabiel should have stopped the shot. In the 33rd minute, one of Chelco AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chelco AFC. Enrique Grabiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adan Osorio in the 40th minute of play. When Leonardo Ferdinand came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Ciudadela F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Ferdinand couldn't finish the play.
