Carmelo Barrionuevo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nereo Lizardi in the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Gorka in the 19th minute of play forced Camarra FC's goalkeeper Carmelo Barrionuevo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nereo Lizardi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nereo Lizardi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 28 minutes, Dario Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Camarra FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dario Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nereo Lizardi in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carmelo Barrionuevo saved Camarra FC from getting behind. After having played for 33 minutes, Dario Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Camarra FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dario Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Guaberto Arnalt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Camarra FC's Enrique Grabiel threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dario Sancho, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Rosendo Emeterio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Enrique Grabiel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guaberto Arnalt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carmelo Barrionuevo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Gorka in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Chelco AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Sancho came free, but Enrique Grabiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fausto Gorka to strike the kick off in the second half. Dario Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enrique Grabiel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dario Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. Rosendo Emeterio charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rosendo Emeterio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd minute of the match Guaberto Martinez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carmelo Barrionuevo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Fausto Gorka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Guaberto Arnalt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Camarra FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Guaberto Arnalt hit a great ball. Dario Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Enrique Grabiel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrique Grabiel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guaberto Arnalt, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 94th minute Dario Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Grabiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chelco AFC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Camarra FC had controlled the match.
