After 6 played minutes, MIRAMONTE AFC's Mauricio Garin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Baldomero Cebrian came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MIRAMONTE AFC reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Norberto Erauso got free with Baldomero Cebrian in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeremias Colon during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Hersilia's Jeremias Colon got a free kick in the 8th minute. Norberto Erauso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baldomero Cebrian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Txilar in the 13th minute of the match. Robustiano Precioso hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Norberto Erauso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Baldomero Cebrian made a huge save. After some careless play in the Hersilia defense, Aaron Txilar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baldomero Cebrian. The Hersilia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baldomero Cebrian should have stopped the shot. When Roque Ishmael fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MIRAMONTE AFC's protests and gave Roque Ishmael a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to MIRAMONTE AFC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Roque Ishmael hit a great ball. Norberto Erauso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aaron Txilar was the one to do the kick off. The MIRAMONTE AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hersilia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
