Tarrito booed when Alvarado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Acevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Bram Booy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teodosio Argider was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Alvarado's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bram Booy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 33rd minute, Nicasio Felipo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Tasos Ignatiou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the match, Alvarado's goal looked a bit too open when Bram Booy came free, but Teodosio Argider reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raimundo Emeterio made a kick off. Raimundo Emeterio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Erasmo Salomon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Dep. After 69 minutes of play, Alvarado's Raimundo Emeterio made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erasmo Salomon was left in no man's land by his defense there!
