With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adan Osorio in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Froilan Maore saved Patay FC from getting behind. When Antonio Goren fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ciudadela F.C.'s protests and gave Antonio Goren a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th match minute, Ciudadela F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Goren to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Genaro Erdiano managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Patay FC's Gaspar Hernandez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Delmiro Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the match, Patay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Ferdinand came free, but Froilan Maore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adan Osorio in the 24th minute of play forced Patay FC's goalkeeper Froilan Maore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Ciudadela F.C.'s Genaro Erdiano got control of the ball when Gaspar Hernandez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Teo Chabier hit a great ball. Leonardo Ferdinand took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Froilan Maore. Froilan Maore dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Adan Osorio took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Froilan Maore to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Hernandez in the 62nd minute of play forced Ciudadela F.C.'s goalkeeper Genaro Erdiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Genaro Erdiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Fernandes in the 64th minute of play. If Delmiro Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Patay FC booed when Ciudadela F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Goren didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Patay FC's Delmiro Fernandes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Genaro Erdiano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. When Remigio Lopez fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ciudadela F.C.'s protests and gave Remigio Lopez a yellow card for diving instead. Remigio Lopez kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Gaspar Hernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Patay FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaspar Hernandez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Genaro Erdiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 82nd match minute, Patay FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Ferrer to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute, Gervasio Lixandro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Patay FC's Froilan Maore didn't even have to move. Adan Osorio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Froilan Maore read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Ciudadela F.C.'s Leonardo Ferdinand dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. 94 minutes into the match, Delmiro Fernandes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Genaro Erdiano. Ciudadela F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Delmiro Fernandes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ciudadela F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
