Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Justo Jaen made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in Chelco AFC's zone, Raimundo Emeterio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrique Grabiel came out of the goal and Raimundo Emeterio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alvarado's goalkeeper Teodosio Argider, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Nereo Lizardi notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Alvarado's Teodosio Argider. Teodosio Argider was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 17th match minute, Chelco AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Steven to maneuver through the defense. Raimundo Emeterio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Grabiel having to interfere. A collision led to Chelco AFC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Diego Bernad hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raimundo Emeterio got free with Enrique Grabiel in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Enrique Grabiel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raimundo Emeterio in the 24th minute. In the 29th minute of the match, Raimundo Emeterio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Enrique Grabiel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justo Jaen in the 32nd minute of play forced Chelco AFC's goalkeeper Enrique Grabiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodosio Argider took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Lizardi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fausto Gorka struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Teodosio Argider didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chelco AFC. Fausto Gorka blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teodosio Argider having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Chelco AFC's Andres Steven got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute, Rosendo Kemen sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Chelco AFC's Enrique Grabiel didn't even have to move. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fausto Gorka to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Justo Jaen in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enrique Grabiel saved Chelco AFC from getting behind. Fausto Gorka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Teodosio Argider tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Justo Jaen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Grabiel having to interfere. In the 68th match minute, Chelco AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Steven to maneuver through the defense. Teodosio Argider made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nereo Lizardi in the 73rd minute. Nereo Lizardi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fausto Gorka in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teodosio Argider prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Raimundo Emeterio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Grabiel having to interfere. When Justo Jaen came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Alvarado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justo Jaen couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Chelco AFC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Manuel Cresencio hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Alvarado fans cheered their team off the field, for while Chelco AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
