If Luciano Arnalt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fulgencio Gabino kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Mariano Loreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luciano Arnalt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carlos Matei came out and tried to block the shot, but Luciano Arnalt slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 36th minute. Adrian Adrio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Severo Tabb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Loreto in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Matei saved The New Brighton from getting behind. In the 53rd minute, Luciano Arnalt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Gonzalo Urbasa fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The New Brighton's protests and gave Gonzalo Urbasa a yellow card for diving instead. Gonzalo Urbasa kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th minute of the match Anacleto Gilen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Matei showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 61 minutes, Luciano Arnalt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carcnaval's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luciano Arnalt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, The New Brighton's Osvaldo Gaspard got a free kick in the 65th minute. Mariano Loreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Matei having to interfere. Carlos Matei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Loreto in the 76th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Mariano Loreto put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Carlos Matei. Osvaldo Gaspard hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. When Mariano Loreto came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Carcnaval fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Loreto couldn't finish the play. Luciano Arnalt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mariano Loreto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Carlos Matei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The New Brighton's Carlos Matei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Loreto in the 94th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Carcnaval had played much better football throughout.
