An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Gregory in the 23rd minute of play forced The New Brighton's goalkeeper Carlos Matei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abelardo Gregory received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Carlos Matei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute Adrian Adrio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Tomi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Matei came out of the goal and Clemente Sugar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 53 played minutes The New Brighton got a freekick which was hit by Florentino Oriol. In the 58th minute of the match Jairo Ciano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amador Tomi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Osvaldo Gaspard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amador Tomi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind The New Brighton's goalkeeper Carlos Matei, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eulalio Ieltxu hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After 80 played minutes, The New Brighton's Igor Su shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Amador Tomi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in The New Brighton reached it. Adrian Adrio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amador Tomi having to interfere. Abelardo Gregory's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 96thth minute, Carlos Matei skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.
