With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anier Ioritz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fausto Licerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Ioritz having to interfere. In the 31st minute Valentin Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Ioritz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Fausto Licerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luciano Guter's late challenge caught a Niguil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luciano Guter helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th match minute, LocoSid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Guter to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the game, Niguil's Jimeno Iztal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anier Ioritz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Uriel Cordaro to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, LocoSid's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Santos came free, but Anier Ioritz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nereo Crescencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Cisco in the 55th minute of play. If Moises Eladio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. LocoSid's Anier Ioritz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Santos in the 80th minute of play. LocoSid's Luciano Guter got his second yellow card of the match in the 80th minute. The referee ordered Luciano Guter off the ground. In the 81st match minute, LocoSid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Guter to maneuver through the defense. After 91 played minutes LocoSid got a freekick which was hit by Matias Ugaitz. After a defensive mix-up in LocoSid's zone, Fausto Licerio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anier Ioritz came out of the goal and Fausto Licerio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
