The referee showed Ignacio Victoro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bernardo Rolado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Eleazar in the 36th minute of play. Ildefonso Gipuzkoa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Plomer AFC. 41 minutes into the match, Plomer AFC's Fulgencio Bermund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ildefonso Gipuzkoa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, Silvio Txurio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ildefonso Gipuzkoa. LOS PIBES FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silvio Txurio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After a rather tough play, LOS PIBES FC's Paolo Jago got a free kick in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After having played for 61 minutes, Silvio Txurio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Plomer AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvio Txurio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in LOS PIBES FC's zone, Jairo Bixintxo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ildefonso Gipuzkoa came out of the goal and Jairo Bixintxo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silvio Txurio took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ildefonso Gipuzkoa. Ildefonso Gipuzkoa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Marciano Berto was shown his second yellow card after 69 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 70th match minute, LOS PIBES FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marciano Berto to maneuver through the defense. Ildefonso Gipuzkoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvio Txurio in the 71st minute of play. When Silvio Txurio came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Plomer AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvio Txurio couldn't finish the play. If Silvio Txurio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to LOS PIBES FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Amadeo Seme hit a great ball. Silvio Txurio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvio Txurio in the 89th minute of play forced LOS PIBES FC's goalkeeper Ildefonso Gipuzkoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ignacio Victoro got free with Bernardo Rolado in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
