After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Humberto Endira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colastiné's supporters rose to their feet, but Humberto Endira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Rolado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silvio Txurio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Isidoro Salvadore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernardo Rolado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Ilixo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Plomer AFC's Bernardo Rolado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Endira in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Plomer AFC's Jairo Bixintxo got a free kick in the 26th minute. Bernardo Rolado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Endira, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Jairo Bixintxo hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Bernardo Rolado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Endira in the 38th minute of the match. Humberto Endira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Rolado having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Jairo Bixintxo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Humberto Endira was the one to do the kick off. With his leg Bernardo Rolado managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when Colastiné's Reynaldo Ilixo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Reynaldo Ilixo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Bernardo Rolado when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Plomer AFC's Bernardo Rolado got control of the ball when Reynaldo Ilixo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 59thth minute of the game Humberto Endira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Plomer AFC's Bernardo Rolado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Plomer AFC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Silvio Txurio hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Segundo Osorio during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 67th minute, one of Plomer AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Plomer AFC. The goalkeeper, Bernardo Rolado, was totally fooled by Colastiné's Anastasio Lorencio, who 69 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Bernardo Rolado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reynaldo Ilixo went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After having played for 80 minutes, Reynaldo Ilixo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colastiné's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reynaldo Ilixo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reynaldo Ilixo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardo Rolado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. When Silvio Txurio came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Plomer AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvio Txurio couldn't finish the play. Plomer AFC's Bernardo Rolado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Plomer AFC from getting a goal against them. Silvio Txurio struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Isidoro Salvadore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Plomer AFC. The Colastiné supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Colastiné would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
