Maximiliano Arotza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nunez Fortun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Maximiliano Arotza made a huge save. 13 minutes into the game, Nestor Balesio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TikiTiki Fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rosario De Central the free kick. In the 13th minute, Nestor Balesio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severo Egun in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santos Bela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. TikiTiki Fc's Maximiliano Arotza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save TikiTiki Fc from getting a goal against them. If Hugo Mosen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Hugo Mosen made a precise shot to the right of Maximiliano Arotza. TikiTiki Fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 29 played minutes Rosario De Central got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Pello. In the 30th minute, Nestor Balesio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santos Bela was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Nunez Fortun's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 37thth minute, Maximiliano Arotza skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nunez Fortun got free with Maximiliano Arotza in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nunez Fortun was the one to do the kick off. Santos Bela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Balesio in the 62nd minute of play. TikiTiki Fc's Maximiliano Arotza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nunez Fortun in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute of the match Rosario De Central got a corner. TikiTiki Fc's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Andres Dalmai ran over to the corner to take the kick. Andres Dalmai made a great header on Rosario De Central's corner, it was just that TikiTiki Fc's Maximiliano Arotza managed to reach the ball for a save. After 70 minutes of play, Rosario De Central's Nunez Fortun made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximiliano Arotza was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 76th match minute, TikiTiki Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Kemen to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the match, TikiTiki Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Nunez Fortun came free, but Maximiliano Arotza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Marcelo Cordairo fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TikiTiki Fc's protests and gave Marcelo Cordairo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Rosario De Central booed when TikiTiki Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Cordairo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximiliano Arotza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nunez Fortun in the 85th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Hugo Mosen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rosario De Central fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rosario De Central had played much better football throughout.
