Jeronimo Teyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Joey having to interfere. Victorio Ticho made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Joel Igon sent off a good shot on target. If Fidel Kelemen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, Sampacho City's goalkeeper Victorio Ticho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joel Igon. In a very dangerous position, a player in La Cañada F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 35th minute. Penalty! Paulino Joey had in the 36thth minute some difficulties stopping Dionisio Dominguez's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 36 minutes into the game, Dionisio Dominguez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Paulino Joey was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Victorio Ticho was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sergio Mateo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 43 minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fidel Kelemen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 62 minutes into the match, Sampacho City's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Igon came free, but Victorio Ticho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeronimo Teyo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute, Fidel Kelemen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Sergio Mateo sped through Sampacho City's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Victorio Ticho. Victorio Ticho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Mateo, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Sergio Mateo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joel Igon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Victorio Ticho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Freddy Jurgi's late challenge caught a La Cañada F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Freddy Jurgi helped the player get up and apologised. Freddy Jurgi hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. La Cañada F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
