Spectators: 7204 (Terracing: 5405, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eustacio Manuelo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Alfonso Lastur came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Tambillos's Prudencio Weather. But to his dismay, Prudencio Weather quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 7 minutes, Elvio Urtungo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tambillos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elvio Urtungo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 9th minute, Elvio Urtungo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfonso Lastur was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Anacleto Mergildo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ricardo Pes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 14 minute of play. Alfonso Lastur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustacio Manuelo in the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, ELMASGRANDE's Ricardo Pes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anacleto Mergildo. Anacleto Mergildo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. In the 31st minute Ricardo Pes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anacleto Mergildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernesto Ralondo lost his temper 32 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 31st minute, one of Tambillos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tambillos. The goalkeeper, Anacleto Mergildo, was totally fooled by ELMASGRANDE's Nereo Pelayo, who 33 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Prudencio Weather received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Alfonso Lastur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 3-3 after a close first half.

In the 52nd minute Prudencio Weather suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The supporters of ELMASGRANDE booed when Tambillos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbano Hug didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elvio Urtungo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Alfonso Lastur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Tambillos's Elvio Urtungo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfonso Lastur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Ricardo Pes came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the ELMASGRANDE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Pes couldn't finish the play. Alfonso Lastur was a little too slow when Elvio Urtungo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 3-4. Tambillos's Anacleto Mergildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Moise in the 76th minute of play. Laureano Eyague kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Alfonso Lastur was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Teobaldo Cheche. 84 minutes into the game, Urbano Hug cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-5. Alfonso Lastur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 89th minute, Ricardo Pes had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paolo Tajo during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 90th match minute, Tambillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Tajo to maneuver through the defense. Nereo Pelayo's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Anacleto Mergildo on his right side and into the goal. 91 minutes into the game it was 4-5. Anacleto Mergildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Moise, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Tambillos supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tambillos would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
