After 29 minutes, Arnoldo Blai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the la ribe!!! and the Sportivo Cinzano players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th minute, Arnoldo Blai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute, Giannis Tsimilis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saverio Vigil got free with Johnny Gräf in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Johnny Gräf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Cordarrel in the 43rd minute of play. Roque Berasko came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Sportivo Cinzano's Ramiro Milio. But to his dismay, Ramiro Milio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isidoro Cordarrel made a kick off. When Isidoro Cordarrel came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the la ribe!!! fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidoro Cordarrel couldn't finish the play. Johnny Gräf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Cordarrel in the 75th minute of the match. Saverio Vigil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnny Gräf having to interfere.
