Severiano Weterio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bonifacio Reynardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Sportivo Cinzano's Epifanio Transito broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 22 minutes into the match, Lezcanos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bonifacio Reynardo came free, but Severiano Weterio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nunez Gotzon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. When Ermegildo Eguzki came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Lezcanos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ermegildo Eguzki couldn't finish the play. Bonifacio Reynardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Severiano Weterio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Bonifacio Reynardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sportivo Cinzano's supporters rose to their feet, but Bonifacio Reynardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severiano Weterio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Reynardo in the 70th minute of play forced Lezcanos FC's goalkeeper Severiano Weterio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lezcanos FC's Nunez Gotzon got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Basilio Lizardi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bonifacio Reynardo struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Severiano Weterio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sportivo Cinzano. Johnny Gräf was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
